Lena Dunham Has 'No Comment' in New York City

Lena Dunham wears a shirt with the words “No Comment” sprawled across the front on Thursday (June 5) in New York City.

“Nothing like an old friend to remind you how many “literary magazines” you started then defected from” the 28-year-old Girls star wrote on her Twitter account the next day. LOL!

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: there really is nothing better than an email from a child” Lena tweeted that same day as well.

@jo: I agree. She always looks constipated

  • Superstar

she is overrated. her show was so corny and cliche. she’s also fat

  • April

Can’t somebody get her a sweater that says “slim fast”?

  • hey you

I love Lena! She inspires me to be confident.

  • Jenna

@hey you: I’m totally with you on confidence. If you don’t have confidence, it really doesn’t matter if you’re skinny or fat. In Lena’s case, what irks me about her is that she looks like she just doesn’t care about taking care of herself. That doesn’t scream confidence to me, it screams laziness and lack of interest when it comes to taking care of herself. You can be rich, you can be talented, you can write a show that makes you millions and wins you awards, but with all of the resources she has (meaning she can hire a trainer and a chef to put something together for her), why wouldn’t she want to take that step to make herself healthier? But, taking that out of the equation, if she wanted to stay heavier …idk why, but if she does.. then I don’t know why she doesn’t wear clothes that highlight her body. She always wears things on the red carpet that make her look even bigger and shapeless. If she properly dressed for her body type, she would look even better and much more confident. So, again, while I agree with you and I’m not a Lena hater by any means, I still don’t get as much of a “confidence” vibe from her as I get “I simply don’t G.A.F.”.

She is disgusting. An embarrassment to the Jewish Race..

  • Whatever!!!

  • Kora

I like that she’s on tv, at least she looks real. Sure, the show is exaggerated and a little weird but I like the idea behind it. It kinda bums me out that people hate her so much.

  • Kathryn

You know what’s sad and unfortunate? Lena is one of the very few celebrities that actually resembles being a normal, perfectly imperfect human being. While I’m sure the luxuries of being a celebrity are lovely and I can imagine it would be quite easy to get caught up in, I LOVE that she has somehow stayed what I believe to be normal in the craziness of Hollywood. Does she look like she’s about to walk the red carpet? No. That might be because she’s not about to. Perhaps the purpose of this outfit was not to draw attention to herself, but to wear something that simply felt comfortable and not done up. The harshness we place on others is usually the criticism we feel towards ourselves. Look in the mirror, people, and see where your negative comments are actually coming from.

  • LLL

@Kathryn: that is well said! Hollywood people get caught in that whole superficiality. there are disconnected or something. at least she seems to remain herself; which is something to be proud of.

she has a beautiful face and is talented. i love her. fvck the nasty comments, she’s real, she’s not fake.
