Nasim Pedrad Most Likely Won't Return to 'Saturday Night Live'

Nasim Pedrad has revealed that she doesn’t expect to return to Saturday Night Live this season.

After spending five seasons on the sketch comedy series, the 32-year-old actress is moving on to star in the upcoming Fox show Mulaney, which got picked up for the 2014-15 season.

“I haven’t heard any official word so far, but I love this show so much,” Nasim said of her new show (via Buzzfeed). “I have an apartment in L.A. and, as far as I know, I’m in L.A. now.”

Nasim played many recurring characters on the show, including one of our favorites, Shallon, the “student who constantly frustrates people of authority with her position of leadership in the classroom.”

I don’t know if it’s a good move. She is trading a sure thing for a show that could be cancelled after one season. Good luck to her. Love her on SNL.

I liked her playing Kim K…she got the nasal way of speaking to a perfection.
