    Hey, though, if this is apart of his “mystique” don’t let me stop you…

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    Your presence isn’t so “grating” but that’s a typical guy for you. How can you say he doesn’t go for young girls when his ex was 23 when he started dating her? Why would he switch gears? One can determine future behavior by pasts behavior. He has an assembly line of beauties at every Hollywood event. It is a fantasy, and one he fostered courting fans and butts in seats a decade ago he likes all women. He does. He just won’t be seen dating them IMHO. Gerry, I think enjoys age-appropriate women for their brain power, experience, etc but is more comfortable with younger girls.
    @Admin:
    Shut the f up why don’t you and leave her alone. Why does she bug you? Or anyone here with opinions. Haven’t you a site to rein over? You know the one no one goes to?
    -
    Why don’t you say something rather than ragging on others that do?

  • Pamela

    @GFW:

    Then put an age above 18 with your post when you mention “young girls”…Better safe than sorry. There seems to be many women on here who have no qualms in opening mouth and insert foot and it’s Gerry that pays for it.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    @Pamela:
    Are you presuming the tweet was truthful? Why? Anyone can say anything using “Gerard Butler” in it to get attention. Why assume Gerry’s having intimate relations with a 19YO based on some random tweet? Heavens.
    -
    And they are easy to impress! C’mon. Hell, I’m easy to impress when it comes to Gerry. But it isn’t his looks that do that for me. It’s his heart. When he does things using his heart, I’m impressed.

  • Pamela

    I’m not presuming anything. I’m saying be careful with what you say.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    @Pamela:
    “There seems to be many women on here who have no qualms in opening mouth and insert foot and it’s Gerry that pays for it.”
    -
    Agreed. But you need to use your observing ego and consider the source(s). Actors like him, handsome, rich, powerful, with status and drive who like pretty young things can make a lot of some normal women who know they’ll never have a chance become traitors now they realize it’s true, he likes them perky and young and spectacularly beautiful. Someone past 30 need not apply it appears. He doesn’t want a woman who’ll tell him about himself. Make sense?
    -
    Me? I’d tell him about himself. Not that I’ve ratsass chance, but he wouldn’t be acting the cutup standing next to me. He would make me proud. He’d be the man he sees in my eyes, get it? Follow me? That’s why we could tell he was not in love with M. He took on her goofy posturing because that’s what he does. Put him nest to a mature woman, or man, and he’s like them. I said it yesterday, he takes on the hue of the room he’s in.

  • Pamela

    @Admin:

    Watch your mouth.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    @Pamela:
    “I’m saying be careful with what you say.”
    -
    Me specifically? Hahaha, since when? LOL
    -
    No one stands out blending in.

  • Pamela

    @GFW:

    Forgive me, but I really don’t care. He’s not in my dating pool. I’m trying to help him in spite of recent events that have been a drag on me and my time…I can’t sit back and watch a train wreck. I don’t care about his love life, who he’s dating, or what anyone says about him or me or him and young girls or him being single.

    Make sense?

  • Pamela

    @GFW:

    Of course not, jail time will do that to ya. It’s illegal to attempt an intimate relationship with a girl younger than 18. James Franco can write a book on how unpopular that is in America. I just don’t want Gerry to have confused people reading these things and associating that behavior with him.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    @Pamela:
    No. You’re contradicting yourself.
    “…but I really don’t care. … I’m trying to help him in spite of recent events that have been a drag on me and my time…”
    -
    I sounds like you do care. Question is, does Gerry? Doubt it.
    -
    This should be fun, informative and your time should be your own.
    -
    Like someone, I respect, told me not long ago. He doesn’t need our defending or protecting. He has staff, friends, family to do that. He’s living his dream life.
    -
    My only thing is to keep stuff on topic to him, good, bad, whatever, rather than let anyone bogart the thread. Make sense?

  • Pamela

    Then please refer back to my post 54 with what you just said. I’m saying be careful. And yes, I do care to certain point at not watching someone fall into a trap of their own making. Sorry I’m tough, but being blunt is who I am.
    Don’t imply young girls…cause people will go to age 18 and younger…They have already. I’m trying to help. If you don’t like that, then whatever.
    Gerry can do whatever he wants…He’s always been free to do so. As am I. And I have an excellent memory.

    Have a great day.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    I should have said young women. I, for whatever reason, feel that I am NOT implying illegal. Why on earth would you think I was? I guess you’re new and don’t know me well. I would NEVER suggest Gerry would be with anyone underage. I feel, he could have wranglers, (as he’s shier than anyone realized IMHO) who make sure his, ah, selections are old enough.
    -
    Why care? I don’t mean the flippantly? But he’s a 44YO man raised by a single mom who marred and sent him to Catholic schools, who’s educated, and been in The Business for a decade, who, granted, like many men can think with their wrong head, but still. I give him more respect than playing mom or whatever. Not that you are. Know what I mean?
    -
    Like with his ex, he knew full well going into it what kind of young girl (there’s that phrase again as suggestion to mentality more than age) she was. Hell she took off for a sex-cation with him in a snap. A woman, age appropriate, would not do that. Not saying never, but you follow my drift. Therefore I stand behind post #54.
    -
    And even though I feel when it’s true love it won’t be a profile or type, let’s both not hold our breath on that. We like to think he wants an equal. I like to think he wants an equal to be in his life. Maybe he does not feel the same?

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    Clarity. I’m not going to tweak my postings to meet your demand I clarify what I mean by young girls to say they’re legal age. I trust him to not be that stupid when his dating pool is as big as the Indian Ocean. Same with messing with married women, not necessary when his pool is as the Atlantic, Pacific combined. At least he learned that lesson the hardest way.
    Correction. “Therefore I stand behind post #47.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    * Why care? I don’t mean that flippantly?

  • Pamela

    @GFW:

    I really rather not discuss it anymore. I made my point. Glad to hear his dating pool is that of an ocean..I was afraid it was sounding like a kiddie pool.
    But I digress.
    Later!

    @Can’tGetEnough:

    Geez, a bunch of 12 YO’s. I bet he had to take a cold shower after that.

    Doesn’t the show air tonight?

    @GFW:

    No IDIOT, because I am the Admin and this troll loves pushing your button s and I watch. I am always watching and let you make a huge endless embarrassing spectacle of yourself. “I should have your IP by now. Ensnared.”
    -
    N.O.P.E.
    -
    FACT. You’re saying on an international gossip site is (very) s c a r y and wouldn’t invite people to register or feel safe at yours.
    -
    Another FACT. I do not care what ANYONE on this gossip site thinks of me. Never have; never will.
    -
    You are watching me? That’s obsessive, huh?
    -
    I don’t make a spectacle. I invite commentary, you do not. You just outed yourself as not a cool woman. You are obsessed with me which cancels any cool you possibly might think you had one time.
    -
    Back to topic and turning away from people who want to talk about other people than Gerry. (eyes roll)
    -
    Gerry cleaned up well. Guess he changed on-site? I just watched the show on video. He was funny and “won” the selfie contest.
    -
    For the interview/chat. He was as relaxed as could be and told more funny stories. His suit looked like the mockingbirds out back. His face looked very fresh and dewy. LOL Now onto his shows over here on the east coast!

  • Really?

    You’re so self important. Everyone just wants you to go away. No one wants you anywhere. Attention w/ho/re.

    I don’t really watch the site, I have a life. I work. You obviously are some shut in that never leaves the house.

    Others here that feel safe promote the site, I know I don’t need to. It’s for people that don’t like you. Since the entire internet wants you to shut up there has to be a good place where someone doesn’t micro manage everyone’s comments. Keep foaming at the mouth Old Girl.

    Oh and try providing some links once in a while or something useful. Your opinions are a drag.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    *Your saying this on an international gossip site
    -
    That’s a real turn off saying you check IP addresses at your website of people who go there. Seriously, it really, really is.
    -
    Now who’s the idiot? Ops.

    ME? I told you already. I live off hush money. ;o)

    You have some very strange notions. Do you jut make up your script as you go along, or do you actually think you know what you’re talking about?

    I live 1500 miles from LA.

    Weirdass.

  • Really?

    @GFW:

    BTW, thanks for stopping by.

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    Wait! You got booted for your obsessing over Gerard Butler or possibly caught stalking him you embarrassed everyone in your household? O possibly because you couldn’t meet the look for the area or money needed to be in his neighborhood (even working six days a week)? Your legend precedes you. I might make it up but it was put out there about you, as you’re not liked very much in Gerry’s world are you? Just go back to work. You dislike me so much, why talk to me? Why be here?
    -
    No, a weirdass is someone who announces they track people who hit their website. That’s a weirdass.
    -
    Back to topic. Gerry has his trademark inverted cowlick again when his hair goes short and they don’t have time for gel. LOL

  • http://rememberingthedesireisprivate.blogspot.com/ GFW

    @Tasty:
    Thanks for that article. What’s with the headline though? Guess the site name explains that?
    -
    From the article…
    “The reality that he was now a big brother hit a 16-year-old Gerard on the night he arrived in Toronto when his younger half-sibling asked if they could sleep in the same bed: “I’m like, ‘Oh my God. I’m a big brother!’ It was really crazy,” he said.”
    -
    I wonder what kind of relationship they have these days?
    -
    I don’t find it depressing. Hiccup and Toothless are similar in that they become unexpected brothers. Gerry’s a wee hard to get, but if you try you can.

  • Really?

    @GFW:

    You are mentally ill. Living in your own fantasy world.

    Whatever. Knock yourself out. You have nothing else.

  • Takeahike

    @Pamela: “”Or do you want to destroy his life?”

    Seriously??? LOL. NO ONE cares about these threads except you, GFW and a couple of other loons. What are you, his mother? You are insane. Why don’t you go on twitter and start threatening people to stop tweeting his about his nocturnal activities, LOL. Good luck with that.

    You can quit threatening people while you’re at it, because as much as you’d like to think you are the boss of these threads, you aren’t, and are in the same class as GFW. Byeeee!!!!

  • Pamela

    @Takeahike:

    LOOK,
    Stop trying to sweet talk me, GFW under a different sock…!!!! I am not a spectacularly beautiful woman…there were no threats…just suggestions! I hope you are right that no one takes these threads seriously..

    I actually had taken a literal hike and it was fun but I am not posting anymore for gb which is why the last few posts went quiet. You can block my IP if you want. As for tweets, you guys probably planted it, not sure why, don’t really care. :)

    Later gator! Probably much later, got some things going on now. Bye!

  • LA Daily Ns

    The 44-year-old Gerard Butler looks very buff, having pumped a lot of iron for “Gods of Egypt,” which he just finished shooting in Australia for Alex Proyas (“Dark City”). At one point, the actor says, he did 12 straight days of sword fighting, sometimes 15 hours a day and carrying 30 to 60 pounds of armor.

    “So when you get to step into the booth of an animated movie, you get to do all of that same kind of action, but you don’t have to go through the pain and suffering,” says Butler with a smile.

    “The other great advantage is that I do my thing and then I let go. Then, when I come back, there is this terrific piece of art. It’s an incredible stimulating visceral journey. I love that.”

    In “How to Train Your Dragon 2,” he reprises the role of Stoick the Vast, the chieftain of the Viking tribe and father of the story’s hero, Hiccup (Jay Baruchel), who was the first to train a dragon. Missing in the original film was Hiccup’s mother. In “2,” Cate Blanchett voices Valka, who had disappeared from Stoick’s life after Hiccup’s birth. Her sudden re-emergance mirrors something that happened in Butler’s own life.

    When he was 16, his father — whom he hadn’t seen since he was a toddler — suddenly arranged a meeting in a restaurant with him.

    “I guess I’m more Hiccup than Stoick — to have this person who should have been a huge part of your life suddenly part of your life again,” Butler says. “When I saw him, though, I knew it was going to happen. I didn’t realize how much feeling I had about it till I sat down and asked him why he didn’t stay in touch. I then started crying.”

    The actor says he cried “hysterically” for hours. “I couldn’t stop. I couldn’t talk. It’s interesting to see how much is built up in you that you don’t even know is there.”

    Butler commends “Dragon 2,” written and directed by Dean DeBlois, for dealing with such an emotional moment.

    “They were brave with that. They really trusted the audience, especially the kids. They can take in and understand more than most filmmakers think they can.”

    Though he’s playing a Viking, Butler got to keep his Scottish accent in the “Dragon” movies, and even “put it on a bit more.”

    To give Stoick that “real bombastic masculine Viking feel, you really have to exaggerate the muscularity and get back into the throatiness and the power of the voice and the power of the consonants,” he says.

    In his career, the actor also has played a lot of Americans, including the disgraced ex-Secret Service agent Mike Banning in last year’s hit “Olympus Has Fallen,” which he also produced. When he portrays an American, Butler tries to stay in character throughout shooting, even off camera. So, ironically, he sometimes feels like he is “literally pretending to be a Scot” when he finally returns to his native accent.

    Accents and acting weren’t originally in the cards for Butler. Though he had the acting itch as a youth, he was headed toward being a lawyer until he was “guided by other forces.” He had his college degree and was finishing training at an Edinburgh law firm when those other forces took over.

    “What happened was, I was a week away from qualifying when I was fired because I was a little bit crazy,” Butler says. “Literally the next day, I packed my bags and moved from Scotland to London. I thought, ‘Well I messed up everything so massively that I might as well give (acting) a shot.’

    “That was seven years gone. I don’t know if I would’ve made the decision to give it all up after seven years.”

    But it did not take long for Butler, then 25, to be cast in a major stage production of Shakespeare’s “Coriolanus.” Though he was part of the ensemble, other roles soon followed. In 2000, he moved to Los Angeles and was cast in “Reign of Fire” with Christian Bale, “Lara Croft, Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life” opposite Angelina Jolie and the coveted title role in “The Phantom of the Opera.” “300” made him a sexy poster boy. He even returned to do a major role in the 2011 film “Coriolanus” opposite Ralph Fiennes.

    Up next for Butler — depending how the production schedules go — is either Dean Devlin’s big sci-fi epic “Geostorm” or “London Has Fallen,” a sequel to “Olympus,” which he is also producing.

    “The one thing that came out of being fired,” he says, “was that it freed me completely.”

  • Question and Answer

    (Reuters) – As two of Hollywood’s prominent Scotsmen, actor Gerard Butler and comedian Craig Ferguson relished the chance to embrace their inner Vikings and ride dragons.

    Butler and Ferguson reunite as Stoick and Gobber, two burly best friends in Dreamworks’ animated fantasy sequel “How to Train Your Dragon 2,” where they help young dragon rider Hiccup (played by Jay Baruchel) save dragons from intimidating Viking villain Drago Bloodyfist (Djimon Hounsou).

    Ahead of the film’s release in U.S. theaters on Friday, the duo spoke to Reuters to discuss Scotland and dragons.

    Q: Growing up in Scotland, did you ever think you’d be in a film riding dragons?

    Butler: Umm, yes. I’m surprised it took so long.

    Ferguson: Yep. It was something that they taught us at school, that “one day, you two will be in a film riding dragons.”

    Butler: “And if you’re not, you’ll be failures” … I think everybody has dreams of being in these fantasy worlds. But I think in Scotland especially – because of our history and the fact that our history is kind of “Braveheart,” and it is dragons and Vikings and that kind of thing – that maybe it’s even more important for us.

    Q: Craig, your character Gobber spills quite a big secret: he reveals that he is gay. How important was that revelation?

    Ferguson: The reason it came about is because we were in the voice session. I was watching Gerry’s character fight with Cate Blanchett’s character, and the line I had in the script was – I say to Hiccup, “See, this is why I never married.”

    Then I ad-libbed the line, “And one more reason,” and I said after that, “That’s right, Gobber’s coming out,” and Dean (DeBlois, the director) said, “Oh, that’s it, maybe he should,” and so it was Dean’s decision, not mine. I just threw the ad-lib in. But Gerry, when he saw the film, thought that it wasn’t that I was gay, that the reason I hadn’t got married is because I had lost my junk – it got cut off in a dragon fight. Which tells you more about his mind than it does about anything else going on.

    Q: What was your most challenging scene in the film?

    Ferguson: For me the biggest challenge was dealing with the speech that comes after his (Butler’s) rather big moment. It was a very emotional speech that took a while to get through, because you know, you care about these people. I’ve been living with these characters for five or six years now, you care about them. You have an affection for them and as fanciful as that may sound, it’s real. So when something tragic happens to a character, it’s sore. It’s people you care about experiencing emotional pain, whether they’re fictional or not, and they’re not really fictional to me, they’re just different.

    Q: As both of you are part of Hollywood’s Scottish contingent, was it nice to do the parts with your native accent?

    Ferguson: Gerry does accents all the time and plays Americans and plays different nationalities. I pretty much am myself.

    Butler: It’s funny though, he’s actually better at accents than I am.

    Ferguson: Yes, but only for comedy accents in sketches.

    Butler: But it is always nice to get back into your own accent – not just your own accent, but an exaggerated form of your own accent, and use that muscularity and strength and power that you have as Scotsmen, but for us to play Vikings, and then you play with it and you can make it soft and whispery and then big and burly, and that’s really great fun – not just to have the accent but to be able to go crazy with it.

    Q: What are your thoughts on Scotland’s proposed independence from the United Kingdom ahead of September’s referendum?

    Butler: That’s a tough one. We have our views, but you know – (looking at Ferguson) he’s just shutting off at this. We’ll be casting our vote.
