Harrison Ford Injures His Ankle While Filming 'Star Wars: Episode VII'

Harrison Ford has injured himself on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII on Thursday (June 12).

Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates,” a statement from Disney read (via THR).

Harrison is reprising his role as Han Solo from the hit 1970s films in the brand new films that are in development.

We wish Harrison a speedy recovery!
