'Think Like a Man Too' Edges Past '22 Jump Street' to Win Weekend Box Office!

Think Like a Man Too debuted with a solid $30 million to top this weekend’s box office!

According to THR, the sequel, starring Kevin Hart, missed matching the first film’s $33.6 million opening.

22 Jump Street, starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, stayed strong at No. 2 with an additional $29 million, narrowly missing first place.

Coming in third was the animated family film How to Train Your Dragon 2, which fell 49 percent to $25.3 million in its second weekend for a domestic total of $95.2 million.

Rounding out the top five were Clint Eastwood‘s Jersey Boys and Angelina Jolie‘s live-action fairy tale Maleficent, which took in $13.5 million and $13 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson‘s indie drama The Rover continued to struggle as it expanded nationwide, placing No. 15 with $500,000.

    Used to go to the movies once a week, loved the movies, have not been in two years or more due to all the sequels and remakes. Has to be really good for me to pony up for the senior discount matinee and a bag of popcorn with butter.

    I don’t understand how people could actually pay to see a film that features the homophobic racist Jonah Hill. People need to learn to vote with their wallets. Don;t let losers like Hill pick your pockets.
