Kim Kardashian Wants to End Boycott of Beverly Hills Hotel

Kim Kardashian looks white hot in a form-fitting skirt while heading to a business meeting on Monday morning (June 23) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 33-year-old reality star, who celebrated her daughter North West‘s first birthday this weekend, took to her blog that day to write an open letter detailing her thoughts on the boycott of the Beverly Hills Hotel and how she wishes it will end to help support the staff of the establishment.

“My best friend Allison and I wanted to take our babies out to lunch a few days ago after our baby class but there were so many paparazzi swarming us, it would have really scared them,” Kim wrote on her website. “Instead we had to feed them at her place and put them down for a nap. We were planning on taking them to the Beverly Hills Hotel, which is where we always go because they respect not having any paparazzi drive onto their property, but I reminded Allison that my bridal shower was moved from that hotel due to the actions of the Sultan of Brunei. Allison shared with me her view on the situation and we 100% agree that the actions and law enforcements of the Sultan are completely against everything we believe in.”

“However, I started to realize that maybe boycotting the hotel isn’t the best solution either,” she added. “For a sultan that has 20 billion dollars, this loss of business doesn’t even make a dent in his fortunes. But the hotel staff are being negatively affected every day with the boycott that has gone on for weeks now… We shouldn’t punish the amazing hard-working people who have been so good to us for years! When I was a little girl, I would ride my bike to the Beverly Hills Hotel on the weekends to eat downstairs in the coffee shop with my dad, and some of the same people still work there! It’s sad to see them suffering from this protest.”

There must be other ways to express our views without punishing the workers, some who I know personally have families at home and depend on the city’s business and tips to survive. When I was pregnant, the hotel was my safe haven. There’s one waitress that works downstairs who was also pregnant at the same time as me and due just a few weeks apart. We would always share our pregnancy stories with each other. I know for a fact she has a new baby at home that she has to feed, so this boycott is affecting her tremendously. The hotel is a piece of LA’s history as well as many of our own personal memories.

I support Rose McGowan and Russell Crowe’s takes on this matter. The unjust treatment and violation of rights of the LGBT community around the world is never justified and I will continue to proudly support the LGBT community in every way imaginable. I do believe though that instead of this boycott, there has to be another solution. I’m glad to hear that industry executives like Jeffrey Katzenberg and Casey Wasserman are reaching out to leaders of the hotel chain to discuss a way to potentially end the protest. I hope we can come together and stand up for our beliefs while still making sure good people aren’t wrongfully hurt in the process. Boycotting the hotel won’t affect the sultan, just our dear friends who work there. For every warm smile when they greet us and for all the dedication they put in to make our experiences more enjoyable, I hope we can return the same love and compassion to make sure they’re not forgotten during this protest. Xo

With love, Kim

    Stop Says:

Hore in the news again, now she claim she feed her baby and put her to nap, after flying her with a nanny alone for a her first year birthday party only to be in the news for more attention and photo opps of them.
Boycott Kim Kardashian and her hores of family already. enough of this bull**t

    Valentine Says:

Wonder whats in it for her? Something for nothing? Kardashians only speak out if the price is right, or if there’s some other kind of favor in store.

    Shut up.

    Cate Says:

I wonder who paid her to post this. There is nothing sincere here and she was obviously told what to write. I bet she couldn’t even tell us the name of her “dear friends” that work on the floor of the hotel.

That opening paragraph is making me laugh so much. Talk about rich people’s problems. Oh no! They couldn’t take their kids to a ritzy 5* hotel after baby class. Instead they had to take them home to their huge mansions staffed with numerous servants and nannies. Cry me a river.

I wish everyone would boycott this disgusting famewhore family.

@Cate: Then perhaps this so called ‘Kardashian boycott’ should start with YOURSELF. How about putting your money where your mouth is? Don’t you agree? ;-)

    @Cate: amen.

    Cate Says:

@Pretty Ka: What are you talking about.? I don’t spend any money on any Kardashian garbage or watch anything they are involved with.

    holly Says:

@Pretty Ka: I believe she and many others have, unlike you, steered clear of their show and other crap they do. Only jacked up fools watch that garbage and buy their junk to support their trashy behavior.

    Mary Says:

So this was just an elaborate way to proclaim that she actually does see the baby once in awhile (not that I’m buying it)?

Who the hell would take anything she said seriously? i found the letter patronizing to those who work in the hotel. She needs her staff back, y’all!

    Butch Says:

If the staff is suffering such hard times then the sensible thing to do is look for another f*cking job at a hotel. I don’t want to sound like an a$$hole, but really….this b*tch can blow it out her a$$ and so can the people who are employed and who run the BHH.

Stick with the BHH boycott please.

“I wish everyone would boycott this disgusting famewhore family”
Very good! Now I assume that you will never post again on a Kim Kardashian thread. To do otherwise will be a case of you telling the world to do as you say not as you do.

    ugh Says:

    Dear Kim.

Please stop being political. You’re not the person to be commenting on anything other than shoes and work out routines.

Put a stock in your mouth women. Your only a mom once a year on your child birthdays.that must of took the augly women half the day to write that note.

    CallItLikeItIs Says:

This is like saying you’re a vegetarian, then taking it back two weeks later because you don’t want the workers at the slaughter house to lose their jobs. What a convenient pile of ****

  16. 16
    abc Says:

Nobody, and I mean nobody, believes that Kim wrote that entire composition all by herself. She’s so stupid she can barely put a sentence of two words together. And if Kim is so concerned about the hotel staff she needs to put a crowbar in her pocket, pull out some of her ill-gotten gains and hand some of her riches over to them. Otherwise, she needs to disappear.

    KBB Says:

I love how ppl are so quick to get on a public forum and spew such hate and vitriole at a woman (a fellow woman) there’s other ways to say you disagree with someone without resorting to such degrading words. Most of you are women (little women at least). I come on his site for some relief from the hustle and bustle of life and I can look at this and not take it personal. Why so serious?

    allison Says:

“Instead we had to feed them at her place and put them down for a nap”
OMG OMG. Kim had to feed her child at her friends place. Why Why why why why why do such terrible things have to happen to Kim K.
    STFU Kim
People said the same thing when the South Africa boycott started. That the normal people would be harmed but the people in charged would not be affected.
But the boycott continued and it helped bring Nelson Mandela to office and the end of apartheid.
Why don’t you start a foundation with you and Kanye money for those employees you care about so much.

  19. 19
    B Says:

Umm Kimmy, that’s not how it works. Thinking that way is how these people get away with this crap. And that would be why we have so much injustice going on, people hate waiting for and working hard for change to happen so if it doesn’t happen right away, they want it to go back to the way it was before because it is causing to much of an inconvenience in the few minutes of their life. Tough. The ideas of these companies affect people in every minute of their life, not just an hour. It sounds like Kim just misses going to the pool or restaurant. Screw the fact that the ideas of the Sultan equal murdering innocent people! Kim wants to go there with her baby.

    abc Says:

@#17 – Most people simply can’t stand the woman because she’s completely self-absorbed, greedy, fake and just plain moronic. She craves, lives and breathes media attention; a day doesn’t go by without her finding some way to be in the news. That’s why people can’t stand the woman. Ever hear of her doing charity for others?? The only charity she cares about is the charity of Kim Kartrashian.

    MCA Says:

Or I am lazy to read or I find the whole letter so boring. Probably both.
Who does she think she is with those huge abnormal hips? That thing cant be serious.

  22. 22
    Chrissy Says:

First of all, she only takes her daughter out when she needs publicity so we would know about it if this happened because she would have called the paps. Secondly, does anyone believe she goes to “baby class”? She can’t even hold her properly. And I doubt she has EVER fed her. Thirdly, why the need to bring up her dead father? If he was alive now he would never have allowed the ridiculous Kardashian brand to exist. My guess is Kim wrote little or nothing of this statement. She an idiot who can’t string two words together. Just more lies!!!!!!

  23. 23
    freya Says:

Oh Pulease, Kim should stop with this outrage. Isn’t this what this rich gluttons like them wants yeah she’s preachy with her disgust on the Sultan while on the other hand she and her sisters are hiring Well experience worker to work on their Dash store for free a an “Intern”

  24. 24
    courtney Says:

typical socialite brat she has no Idea how the real world works unlike some actual Hollywood kids who were taught by their parents to be generous and grateful for what they have nobody in that family is. this so called open letter is smoke and mirrors like any of their so called charitable work

  25. 25
    noway Says:

@#24 – What charitable work are you referring to?? Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t recall anyone in this fake family of fools doing any charity work for anyone.
