Chris Brown Rejects Plea Deal in D.C. Assault Case

Chris Brown leaves the court house after appearing before the judge on Wednesday afternoon (June 25) in Washington, D.C.

The 25-year-old singer is facing misdemeanor charges for allegedly assaulting a fan outside of the W Hotel in D.C. back in October after the fan tried to take a photo with him.

Chris rejected a plea deal that would have found him guilty of simple assault. At the time of the arrest back in October, Chris was still on probation for his 2009 attack on then girlfriend Rihanna. He will now go to trial on September 8.
