Melissa McCarthy Admits She Used To Cry Because She 'Wasn't Thinner or Prettier'

That same day, the 43-year-old actress took some time to sign autographs for fans with her husband Ben Falcone as they exited the SiriusXM Studios after promoting their comedy Tammy, which hits theaters on Wednesday (July 2).

Melissa recently opened up about crying because of her weight when she was a young, struggling actress.
“In my 20s I used to cry about why I wasn’t thinner or prettier, but I want to add that I also used to cry about things like: ‘I wish my hair would grow faster. I wish I had different shoes…,” Melissa told People magazine. “I was an idiot… It’s a decade of tears.”
