North Korea Asserts Release of James Franco & Seth Rogen's 'The Interview' is an 'Act of War'

North Korea is fighting back against the United States with regard to the upcoming Seth Rogen and James Franco movie The Interview, which centers around two journalists who plan to assassinate the leader of the country.

“Making and releasing a movie on a plot to hurt our top-level leadership is the most blatant act of terrorism and war and will absolutely not be tolerated,” a North Korea spokesperson said (via the BBC). “If the US administration allows and defends the showing of the film, a merciless counter-measure will be taken.”

North Korea has already spoken out against the film once before.

That fat f–k, Kim Jong-Un needs to stop eating, or die of a heartattack already. I can’t stand Franco and Rogen, but please.

    great publicity for the film.

so now we go to war over Art…what is wrong with you people. Are there no other socials issues like hunger or basic human rights we should be going to war over.

  • Max

really funny! It sucks if you can’t take critism huh North Korea? In the US even kindergarten children are more mature than you are.

  • ghhuy

Seth and James are two idiots they can’t do anything except laugh at people and get money to make their idiotic boring movies.

@sky: Pretty sure 1. No one is going to war. This is nothing more than propaganda on Kim Jung-Un’s part to try and bolster his power and control over his country and the people. And 2. North Korea would go to war if someone farted and sent it to fat pants in charge.

____And going to war over social issues is not the answer, it creates more strife, hunger, famine, it violates even more basic social and human rights issues and don’t forget it the #1 reason: it kills everyone. The world needs to collectively come together and get these stupid ass counties to stop with this BS. But seeing as American politicians are fighting on American soil because of our own hunger and human civil rights violation issues, I don’t see how anything can get accomplished. The world needs a long timeout to think about what we’re doing to each other, the animals, the plants, the air. You know, basically EARTH.

@Leila: Do you really think North Korea give a crap? Two different countries, two different sets of rules.

  • Jairaition

Probably end up as propaganda in Nkorea and celebated in some coutries as typical americans. You’d think they’d at least take Dennis Rodman with them in the movie.
