Lindsay Lohan to Make West End Stage Debut in 'Speed-the-Plow'!

It’s official: Lindsay Lohan will make her West End stage debut in Speed-the-Plow, Broadway.com reports!

The 27-year-old actress has signed on to do eight shows a week with the famous David Mamet play at London’s Playhouse Theatre.

Directed by Lindsay Posner, the production will open on October 2 of this year and will play until November 29. Previews will begin September 24. No additional casting has been announced.

Lindsay will play the role of Karen, which happens to be the role Madonna originated in the 1988 Broadway production.

Rumors had been swirling for some time that Lindsay would take part in the production.

    Ha! Good luck with that. Stage acting is demanding. The rehearsals, blocking, etc can be brutal, not to mention the performances. I don’t see little miss ‘I Can’t Get My Sh!t Together’ making it through that.
    I feel bad for her cast mates.
