Mark Wahlberg on His Bad Boy Past: I'll Never Mess Up Now That I Got a Second Chance

Mark Wahlberg and his young co-star Nicola Peltz step out of Grill Royal after dining out together on Monday evening (June 30) in Berlin, Germany.

The duo premiered their film Transformers: Age of Extinction that same day!

Mark recently opened up to ABC News about transforming from a former bad boy into one of Hollywood’s favorite actors.

“Once I got a second chance, I was never gonna do anything to mess it up. And I, you know, I feel so fortunate to do what I do,” Mark said. “People are taking chances on me. I make sure that I deliver.”

“I have a lot of real life experience that I can draw on,” Mark added. “And I think that shows in the characters that I play because I’m always trying to find somebody — or find characters to play that I can identify with on a personal level or relate to. And I think it makes for a little bit more of an honest portrayal.”

I’m glad he was given a second chance after blinding poor little Asian men and calling little black boys the “N” word. Too bad, people of other races aren’t given a second chance.

    ^Exactly
He was given a second chance to do right. My question is since he has gotten rich has he try and do right to that Asian man. I know money c an’t make the Asian man see again but his life would be a lot more comfortable.

I refuse to watch anything he’s in. This guy not only spewed racist crap, he blinded someone in a hate crime. Anyone else & they’d be crucified, yet this ugly (inside & out) joker gets a pass.
