Megan Fox Says She Didn't Get Along with NYC Commuters

Megan Fox carries a pink toy stroller while leaving a friend’s house on Tuesday afternoon (July 2) in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

The 28-year-old actress, who is featured on the super sexy new cover of Cosmopolitan, recently talked about some of the problems with shooting her new movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the middle of New York City’s Times Square.

Megan told the New York Post that pedestrians would yell at her for “hindering their commute. It’s like, we’re working, too,” she lamented. “We’re making a movie right now. You’re in it. Go see yourself in August. You’re a pleasure.”

and yet she’ll make over a million dollars when all is said and done and most of those people in the movie who are “in it” won’t see a dime and their commute will take them to a job that pays not even half of what she makes. I get that they’re all working, but the playing field is not even. they may have gotten angry at them shooting but i doubt anyone who got hindered did anything to really hinder their movie anyway, so why even bring it up megan?

@JJ: shooting movies brings a lot of money to ny state, and help pay for state programs and other stuff, so they see benefits of shooting in the state

New Yorkers say their mind. Especially on the streets and when commuting. Movies do make money and they do screw up traffic and time schedules too.

    Time is money… to everyone.

Please, acting in a movie is ten times easier than a real job. As long as you are pretty you’ll get hired.

@assman: I never ever said they didn’t. I’m just saying she’s acting like having those tourists in the movie gave them the same benefit she got from being in the movie. They’re all working, but they’re not getting the same paychecks. They’re all working, but at the end of the day Megan’s movie gets done while people being ‘hindered’ could have lost their jobs by being late. Everyone’s situation is different and she grouped them together like they didn’t have a reason to be angry.

She thinks what she does is WORK?! Had she know what it’s like to live in NYC she’d understand that the commute is work just to get to work. Her SNOBBISH attitude and her big mouth as usual indicate she deserves a good ass kicking.

I live in NYC and when you block commute it’s felt literally for weeks. So instead of trying to sell the notion of playin pretend for a living as WORK she should have just kept to herself and STFU.

@darius: Let’s be real..the real “work” when making a movie comes from the people making costumes…the person directing it…the people editing it……you know, the ones who are still working around the clock after the actors come in…sit in their trailers all day…come out…saw a couple of lines…bring in some stunt people…say some more lines…go homes and hit up a red carpet or a club or relax at home with their family. The actors make more money than most of the people on the crew, and it’s the crew who make the actors look so good on screen. She needs to step off her high horse if she thinks pretending to be someone else is more important than those trying to hustle to work in NYC. Whether you’re a good actor or a bad actor, a high paid actor or a struggling actor…the crew of the movie still has to do all of the work to make you look as good as possible and the movie as good as possible and most of the time, that’s working 3x as long as an actor. I’ve been a production assistant and an actor myself in smaller projects and the actor’s job is a lot more “cushy” than anyone else involved with a movie….but they get the most money.
