Anne Hathaway & Adam Shulman Apply Andrew Garfield & Emma Stone's Sign Idea!

Anne Hathaway & Adam Shulman Apply Andrew Garfield & Emma Stone's Sign Idea!

Anne Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman hold up signs while taking a stroll with their pet pooch Esmeralda on Sunday (July 6) in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Here is what both of their cards said:

Anne: “Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield had a great idea! Please check out:,,”

Adam: “Have a great day!”

In case you missed it, Emma and Andrew recently held similar cards to their faces after grabbing breakfast together at Cafe Cluny in the Big Apple. This is something that the couple has done since September last year.

Oh dear god..will someone tell these stars to grow up and cut it out with the juvenile card board cut outs..Get some class. No one was followed by paparazzi more than Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and she was a class act all the way. Did the paps annoy her yes…probably but she wouldn’t reduce herself to being a cardboard holding idiot with messages that no one can read.

@sweetness: I know, Emma and Anne are similarly pretentious, they really believe they are so influential that they need to put a charity cardboard on their face and their “fans” will donate. Please, rich people, albeit “celebrities” that earn unrealistic millions of dollars compared to the average joe busting their a$$ more than any actress ever would should be donating to these charities, each celebrity should budget their annual income and set a fixed percentage to donate to their charities of choice that have low administrative costs. it’s good karma to return the favor after they made so much money to help those in need while the reality is that the majority of the wealthy are incredibly stingy in general, especially towards good causes.

They’ve solved their paparazzi problem! Now they’ll never be photographed again…oh wait.

It was cuter when Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield did it. Now it’s just annoying.

I disagree emma and anne are pretentious. I think they’re poking fun at the same time as using the paps to shed light on good causes. It’s better than people sitting around reading about famous people they will never meet on the internet and wasting time commenting on them. ops.

    LOL Says:

@Gross: and you are a blind sheep that has no understanding about the money making schemes behind charities and their true intended purposes, especially when they are backed by celebrities as their best source of PR. are you donating to their charities that they put on their face? you could donate money, even a penny to each charity they put on those scraps of cardboard but you most likely didn’t. enlighten me please since Ur such a “fan” of people that professionally play pretend for millions right? like you said, “oops” lol.

    LOL Says:

no one is donating a single penny to their cause just because they are holding cards up to their faces…in fact this is shameless exploitation of charities that probably do need attention and donations but this bit of PR stunt is more about them and not the charities..this pic just makes them look like they care. And people are so gullible …Anne Hathaway received alot of negative pr two years ago…she still hasn’t bounce back from that…by doing this, it softens up her negative pr image.

    Phony Says:

Ok, I get it, the paps are annoying, and I don’t blame celebs for looking cranky or hiding their face or whatever cuz I’m sure I would do the same thing. But this charity cardboard thing just strikes me as so phony. If they really care so much about alleviating poverty, why are they living millionaire lifestyles? If Anne Hathaway really wants to be so selfless she could live in a small inexpensive apt with her husband and donate the rest of her millions to whatever cause she is supposedly so devoted to. But she doesn’t, she lives on more $$ in a year than most of the world will ever see in their entire lives. So don’t preach to people who struggle paycheck to paycheck just to make rent on what to do with their $$ while you’re a very comfortable millionaire.

Couldn’t they just wear t-shirts? Wouldn’t that be easier and more practical?

I’d like to see these fame seeking losers including emma stone donate money in front of my eyes rather than pretend to care.

Sweetness. Your comment is ironic to me. “Juvenile”
Your negativity is juvenile. They are trying to spread love! That is enlightenment. Your comment is negative — that is the opposite of enlightenment. People of the Negative Kingdom. You have built a powerful force. You have brought many together to bring others down. NOW. In this moment. I ask and urge you to use this collection you have amassed and spread LOVE!!!!!!
Please! Help those who are in pain and suffering from the negativity passed around. The mentally ill, the sick, the depressed, the people who are sensitivity to negativity and are harmed by it. Please turn this page and help spread the love that we all need and deserve!!!

You are choosing to see the negative. The negative inside of you reflecting back on to you. They are trying to spread LOVE. You are seeing it as something else because that is what is in your heart.
Use this time you take to write the negativity and spread a positive message as they are doing. You don’t know where there money goes… what they do or do not give. Give them the benefit of the doubt you have and trust that maybe they do give back. Maybe they aren’t like the stingy wealthy people you have encountered. But more than that… it’s not about them. This is about YOU. You are giving back negativity while they are trying to send out positivity and trying to tell you about people who need help. Next time, take the time you spent putting them down to help someone. People need our help. People need your help. REACH OUT of your comfort zone and choose LOVE next time.
