“It’s behind me; it’s an 8-year-old story,” Mel told The Hollywood Reporter about his controversial comments recently defended by Gary Oldman. “It keeps coming up like a rerun, but I’ve dealt with it and I’ve dealt with it responsibly and I’ve worked on myself for anything I am culpable for.”

He continued to say, “All the necessary mea culpas have been made copious times, so for this question to keep coming up, it’s kind of like … I’m sorry they feel that way, but I’ve done what I need to do.”

Good for him. I can’t wait until he directs again, I miss his movies.

Be on the simpsons in a few weeks in a new episode.

I think the guy has some kind of mental condition and we know he’s an alcoholic, too,so I’m gonna stop kicking him and wait and see. If he has stopped drinking and he is taking medicine and under a psychiatrist care, then I will not judge him. Like he said, it’s been eight years.

He is dead to me and I hope he stays that way to others.

Apologizing is useless if you’re still the same person inside. In Mel’s case, it’s a chronically angry choleric person. He will explode again.

Mel looks good! I miss seeing him on the big screen and his directed films. I hope he makes a huge comeback and bring back real movies for the viewers. Too much trash out there right now.

Mel & Justin Bieber should move to Thailand…or Mars.

His past comments were despicable, but people can change and hopefully he really has.

There’s no such thing as “Freedom of Speech” when Jews are involved. If you critize a Muslim or their faith (which, contrary to moronic believe, is not what propaganda enriched media takes out of context and manipulates/fabricates) THAT downright bigotry/racism is disguised by “Freedom of Speech”. However, say something about a Jew and you’re automatically dubbed as “anti-Semitic” “insulting the holocaust” and ‘inhuman’…blah, blah. The hypocrisy, double standard, contradictions, bigotry, prejudism is truly astonishing. So, you’re cruel and a bigot if you speak ill of Jews but completely within your rights when you attack Muslims and express intense/fanatical hatred towards them and their entire religion. Yep, makes perfect amount of sense for small minded, uneducated, disgusting people of that nature.

double standard in Hollywood if you you are not a Jew or a Gay you can’t offend anyone, but you can be a pedo like Bryan Singer, Roman Polanski, Woody Allen

@tick:
I would’nt say he stay behind the sun, he made Apocalypto passable.
