    No, they should keep Paula Patton. Her character was good. Why they never keep the same lead female. And will Ving appear more than 30 seconds in this one?

  • Sophie7609

    Can they not cast a fabulous woman closer to Tom Cruise’s age? These men who are paired with much younger women – bordering on gross for the audience. And completely unbelievable.

    Hoping for Paula’s return
    Never heard of Rebecca
    Would like to see Jeffrey Wright or Ed Norton in a Cruise movie
    Wish Cruise would tweet when filming has started

  • Geri

    She is a good actress and I suspect she will end up as the baddie. None of the others apart from Cruise have been officially confirmed yet, so there is no reason to think that Paula Patton has been replaced. If they don’t cast Renner and Pegg my interest will drop to zero.

    @Sophie7609: how is it gross to act with a younger woman, no one even said she will hook up with Tom’s character, last movie had no romance what so ever, it was just an action flick, stop judging you look foolish

  • Chris

    The director confirmed she was on board on twitter. They just didn’t say what role.

    Sophie this has been going on since the beginning of movies. Check out Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, Fred Astaire and others.
    Then Bogart and Bacall?
    It isn’t just Cruise and it’s nothing something that will change anytime soon.

    I cannot imagine her playing a baddie, or the worst kind of baddies. She lloks very sweet to me!

  • Geri

    @Free at last:

    That is why she would be so good as a baddie. The female assassin in Ghost Protocol had an angelic face, but I found her totally convincing .
