Colin Farrell in Negotiations for 'True Detective' Season Two!

Colin Farrell is reportedly deep into negotiations to join the cast of True Detective season two, Deadline reports!

The 38-year-old actor would play one of three main roles in the series. Each season of True Detective is independent from the last – Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey, who both starred last season (and both received Emmy nominations), will not appear in the second season.

Casting rumors have been rampant, but so far, no one has been confirmed. Jessica Chastain was at one point rumored, but those rumors were put to rest by her rep.
