'Orange Is The New Black' Stars Step Out After Emmy Noms!

Laverne Cox gets sandwiched in between Selenis Leyva and Uzo Aduba while attending the Kiehl’s Nolita Grand Opening on Thursday (July 10) in New York City.

The ladies stepped out just hours after their series Orange Is The New Black was nominated for a fantastic nine awards at the 2014 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series!

Laverne and Uzo both were nominated in the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series category along with their co-star Natasha Lyonne.

By getting a nomination, Laverne has become the first transgender person to be nominated for an Emmy. Amazing!

“I got to meet the president, I have an Emmy nomination and I can afford to redecorate my apartment. I have a publicist who connected this call. Everything is different,” Laverne told Time about receiving the nomination. “My whole life has changed. People recognize me wherever I go. Nothing is the same it was last year.”
