Tracy Morgan Sues Wal-Mart Over Deadly Car Crash

Tracy Morgan is suing Wal-Mart over the New Jersey car crash that he was involved in last month.

The 45-year-old actor filed a lawsuit for Wal-Mart’s carelessness and allowing their employee to drive after being awake for more than 24 hours.

“As a result of Wal-Mart’s gross, reckless, willful, wanton, and intentional conduct, it should be appropriately punished with the imposition of punitive damages,” the complaint stated. “Walmart was careless and negligent in the ownership and operation of its motor vehicle, which caused Mr. Morgan to suffer severe personal injuries.”

Wal-Mart responded by saying, “This has been a terrible tragedy. We wish Mr. Morgan, Mr. Fuqua Jr., and Mr. Millea full recoveries. Our thoughts continue to go out to them, their families and friends, as well as to the families and friends of everyone involved, including Mr. McNair, who lost his life. We are deeply sorry that one of our trucks was involved. As we’ve said, we’re cooperating fully in the ongoing investigation. We know it will take some time to resolve all of the remaining issues as a result of the accident, but we’re committed to doing the right thing for all involved.”

well, he wasn’t making too much of an impact as a actor so i guess it is better to sue walmart and rake in some cash that way.best thing to ever happen to his career was getting hit by a walmart truck,

Hate to break this to someone pretending to be intelligent BUT there are a lot of thin people living pay check to pay check who also buy at WalMart. Also, there ARE a lot of “fat” people who DO have money who do not buy at WalMart. And the best part, there are a lot of people who do have money who buy at WalMart because they like getting “deals”.

I don’t see many women buying clothes at Walmart. I’m not surprised. The styles and prints are atrocious.

Only been to a Walmart once, in Hilton Head. We really do not have too many Walmarts in SoCal, most places have blocked them through zoning laws.

    just an opinion.... Says:

@ #3 .. you have serious issues dude ! Are you jewish ? I;m guessing not . I doubt he’s suing because he needs money , however somebody should be held accountable . Since you are not a truck driver you wouldn’t know jack about what goes on . These big corp. want the drivers to deliver and the time given is ridiculous , and for these drivers to support their family they cover a lot of shifts . Not saying the driver is not partially responsible but Walmart should be held accountable 100% , if they allow these drivers reasonable timeframe for their deliveries , give them rest time these accidents would not occur . They don’t care about these drivers , they are disposable , right now this guy is facing jail maybe and he already lost his job . Do you think for a minute that WALMART gives a sh!t ….. No I just think it’s about time that these big companies change the way they treat their drivers . Not only it can save their lives also the lives of the others on the road who also have a family somewhere ! Let’s not be a$$holes here , people lost their lives …..seriously !
