Chloe Moretz: Author Gayle Forman Talks Band Name Change in 'If I Stay'

Chloe Moretz walks alongside her older brother Trevor while heading out to lunch in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (July 11).

The 17-year-old actress was also joined by her mom Teri and the three seemed to be coming from a workout earlier in the day.

“And yes, #IfIStay’s Shooting Star became #WillametteStone. Legal reasons. Plus, I came to hate the old name. Sounds like a German Hair Band,” author Gayle Forman confessed on Twitter about band name change in If I Stay from the book to the movie.

She added, “Shooting Star felt fitting for the band they were in IIS. But when they got bigger in WSW ["Where She Went"], the name didn’t feel right.”
