Cory Monteith's Friends & 'Glee' Co-Stars Remember Him One Year After His Tragic Death

It’s hard to believe it’s already been one year since Cory Monteith suddenly and tragically passed away.

The Glee star, 31 years old at the time of his death, was found dead in a hotel room after consuming a toxic mix of heroin and alcohol on July 13, 2013 in Vancouver, Canada.

Celebrities took to Twitter today to express their love for Cory and to remember their dear friend.

“I personally believe Cory was reborn into some other beautiful form a year ago today. I celebrate him and his life… Wherever that may be,” his co-star Matthew Morrison tweeted.

Meanwhile, Harry Shum Jr wrote, “I often think of the good memories I shared with Cory and it makes me smile. He was a one of a kind gentleman and will forever be missed.”
