These Famous Families Have Stuck Together Through Stardom

It has been a while since we fell in love with a family at the movies, so we’re excited that Wish I Was Here is hitting theaters this month because we can’t wait for you to meet the lovable family featured in the film!

Hollywood is full of so many famous families – some with celebs that were born into stardom and others who all achieved fame together.

We have families like the Cyrus‘ and the Smith‘s where the parents were famous and then their children entered showbiz as well. Then there are families like the Kardashians who all rose to fame at the same time via a reality show.

Nevertheless, these families all have stuck together despite being some of the most famous people on the planet.

Click inside to check out our list of some of these families…

The Cyrus Family

Miley Cyrus is undoubtedly the main star of the family these days, but when she was just a little girl her dad Billy Ray was a major country star with the number one song “Achy Breaky Heart.” Over the years, the family has had its low moments when Billy Ray and Tish were separated, but they are back together and all is well in Cyrus-land!

Some of Miley‘s siblings have also taken a shot at show business – her half-sister Brandi has been hosting red carpet shows lately and her half-brother Trace was the lead guitarist for the band Metro Station.

The Hudson-Hawn-Russell Family

While they have never gotten married, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been together since 1983 and are one of the longest lasting couples in Hollywood for sure! Before their relationship, she had two children with her second husband Bill Hudson – daughter Kate Hudson and son Oliver Hudson, both who have gone onto acting with very successful careers.

The Willis-Moore Family

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore were married from 1987 through 2000, but they are still close these days and are raising three daughters together – Rumer, 25, Scout, 22, and Tallulah, 20 – all of whom have budding careers in the entertainment industry.

The Smith Family

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith already had successful careers going before they got married in 1997 and they have since become one of Hollywood’s biggest power couples! Throughout the years they have stuck by each others sides despite countless reports of marriage trouble. They even have three kids that all have rising careers in show business – Trey (whose mom is Will‘s first wife Sheree Zampino), 22, Jaden, 15, and Willow, 13.

The Kardashian Family

This reality star family sure is the example of a famous family that has stuck together through stardom! The entire clan rose to fame with their hit show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which is still airing after nine seasons on the air. We have seen the three sisters Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney go through marriages, births, divorces, and so much more. Matriarch Kris Jenner and patriarch Bruce Jenner have even separated yet are closer than ever. This sure is one family that will stick together through everything!

The Family from ‘Wish I Was Here’

One of our favorite new on-screen families is the one from the movie Wish I Was Here! The film follows a thirtysomething man (Zach Braff) who finds himself at major crossroads, which forces him to examine his life, his career, and his family. You can get a chance to meet all the members of the family by checking out the film in theaters on July 18.
