The film, titled Annabelle after the doll, stars Annabelle Wallis, Alfre Woodard, and more. The movie hits theaters on October 3.

Fun fact: the doll Annabelle is actually a real doll which is currently on display at Ed and Lorraine Warren‘s museum in Connecticut. Ed and Lorraine were prominently featured in The Conjuring, which was based on true events about their lives as American paranormal investigators. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson depicted the married couple in the film.

What the hell is wrong with trailer maker’s now days? They basically revealed 2 of the (probably) major scares in the whole movie.
It looks good though…and why on earth this woman would want a scary ass ugly doll to begin with his beyond me.

The REAL Annabelle (which is a Raggedy Ann doll)doll is way less scary looking despite its infamous tale.

  • A load of tosh

Ha! This is ridiculous – here is the actual doll in the Warren’s museum: http://rhinews.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/annabel.jpg
Please don’t tell me that you believe this?! The film makers of The Conjuring obviously saw how un scary and comical looking the original doll was and so changed it DRAMATICALLY! LOL. This is so unbelievably stupid. If the movie used the actual doll from the museum, there is no WAY people would go and see it. A load of bull.
