Gisele Bundchen's New Sonia Rykiel Campaign is an Ode to Feminine Sensuality

Gisele Bundchen lounges in her seat while starring in the Autumn-Winter 2014 campaign for Sonia Rykiel.

The campaign was shot by Juergen Teller under Katie Grand‘s artistic direction and it is an ode to feminine sensuality.

“It was a pleasure to be asked to art direct and style the new Sonia Rykiel campaign,” Katie said in a statement. “When we were working on the Autumn-Winter show they showed me pictured of Madame Rykiel from the seventies which I’d never seen before. They were very elegant black and white snap shots of her in the studio and on a car, and reminded me of Juergen Teller‘s work. Once Juergen had agreed to work with us, we wanted to work with a woman with Madame Rykiel’s joie de vivre, and the obvious choice was Gisele. Juergen does not often shoot in black and white and we asked him to shoot film to give an authenticity to the images.”

Wow, she will take her pants off for anyone these days! She really should be more selective. A lot of ugly campaign’s for her this year. The Balenciaga campaign is the only one remotely interesting.
