Legendary Actor James Garner's Cause of Death Was a Fatal Heart Attack

Legendary actor James Garner‘s cause of death has been revealed as a fatal heart attack, known in medical terminology as an acute myocardial infarction, TMZ reports.

James died at his home earlier this month at the age of 86, but until now, it was unknown why the actor suddenly passed. He had been suffering from coronary artery disease.

You may recognize James from his large body of work including The Notebook, The Rockford Files, The Great Escape and the television show 8 Simple Rules for two seasons.
