Maksim Chmerkovskiy Won't Be Returning as a Dancer to 'Dancing with the Stars'

Maksim Chmerkovskiy has just confirmed he will not be returning as a dancer to Dancing with the Stars.

“I’m done dancing,” the 34-year-old dancer said on The View on Tuesday (July 29). “I feel like it’s time.”

“I loved the experience,” he added. “When I came back to the show, it was not the same…I was different, probably…When I came back, I saw this amazing talent, Val [Chmerkovskiy, his brother] included…I looked at it and thought they can do much more and better, I was taking up a huge spot.”

Maks finally won the mirror ball during season eighteen with Olympian partner Meryl Davis.
