Drew Barrymore Releases Statement After Half-Sister Jessica's Sudden Passing at 47

Drew Barrymore has just released a statement about her half-sister Jessica‘s sudden passing at the age of 47, just shy of her 48th birthday.

“Although I only met her briefly, I wish her and her loved ones as much peace as possible and I’m so incredibly sorry for their loss” the 39-year-old actress said in a statement to JustJared.com.

Jessica was found in her car at 6am on Tuesday (July 29) in San Diego, Calif. A cause of death is unknown, but reports say “dozens of white pills” were found in her car.
