Lorde to Pen Song & Curate 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1' Soundtrack!

Lorde is set to appear on the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1!

Not only will the 17-year-old singer pen an original song for the movie, but she will also curate the entire soundtrack by hand-picking the artists involved!

“Curating the soundtrack for such a hotly-anticipated film was a challenge, but I jumped at the chance,” Lorde said in a statement. “The cast and story are an inspiration for all musicians participating and, as someone with cinematic leanings, being privy to a different creative process has been a unique experience. I think the soundtrack is definitely going to surprise people.”

Don’t forget – Mockingjay Part 1 hits theaters on November 21!
