Bill Murray Will Be Baloo in 'Jungle Book' Reboot

Bill Murray is set to voice Baloo in a remake for Disney’s The Jungle Book!

The 63-year-old actor will be joined in the film by Lupita Nyong’o as wolf mother Raksha, Scarlett Johansson as the snake Kaa, Christopher Walken as the voice of orangutan King Louie, Giancarlo Esposito as Akela, Ben Kingsley as the black panther Bagheera, and Idris Elba as the evil tiger Shere Khan.

Mark your calendars, the Jon Favreau-directed movie hits theaters on October 9, 2015!

FYI: Baloo is the loveable bear, who raises young orphan boy Mowgli.

    This is one movie that I will not see. While the cast is pretty good, there is no reason to remake the movie. Movie studios wonder why they are not making money at the box office – this is why — remakes, retreads and crappy movies. There is hardly anything original and good at the theatre anymore.
