Keke Palmer Making Broadway Debut in 'Cinderella' This Fall!

Keke Palmer will be making her Broadway debut in the title role of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella!

“I have an infinite amount of gratitude to show, I am thankful to be able to do this and excited for the discipline it will bring,” the 21-year-old actress said in a statement about her new role.

Keke will be the youngest woman to play Cinderella on Broadway. She is also the first African-American woman to play the role on stage. The production previously had Carly Rae Jepsen starring in the role, which was originated by Laura Osnes.

You can see Keke on Broadway starting on September 9!

    She’s a talented actress and singer, so I think she’ll do a good job. This is a much more logical choice than Carly Rae Jepsen was. That was a disappointing performance that I spent my hard earned money to see when I was in New York.
