Colton Haynes Live Tweeted a Couple's First Date - Must Read!

Colton Haynes just won Twitter for the night by live tweeting a couple’s first date as they sat next to him at a restaurant on Wednesday evening (August 6).

“I am sitting next to the a couple on their 1st date who met online and it’s a conversation I have to live tweet about right now. Stay tuned,” the 26-year-old actor tweeted to kick off his live tweet.

After about forty-five minutes and more than twenty tweets, the date finally ended and by the sound of it, there isn’t going to be a second date!

We surely do hope Colton has a second date with live tweeting though.

  • Claudia

This was sooo funny!!!!!! LOL!!! I’m dying of laughter!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • Nora knob

These twitter posts usually turn out to be fake stories to get more followers. Most of this is prob fantasy he’s made up. Would be kinda creepy listening in on folks convos like that imho.

  • assman

come out of the closet Colton, no one cares

  • um

    @assman: except you, obviously.

  • sx

kinda funny but stalkery/creepy at the same time

  • Ellie

I want a date with Colton Haynes now, I like his sense of humour.

  • Jeff

It’s just people watching. Lots of writers and creative people do it all the time to try and get the creative juices going.

In Colton’s case, I think he just found to convo funny and wanted to share it with everyone else. I thought it was funny as hell. Kudos to Tracy for peacin’ out.

  • Verity

Is nothing sacred anymore? You have to worry about someone putting your business on social media now? He should of minded his own business, this did not need to be on social media.

  • Bobby

@Verity: Sacred??? this man was MARRIED and on a date from someone he met online! LOLOLOLOLOL that’s so sacred…I’m sure if it were a cute intimate NORMAL first date he wouldn’t have written about it.

@Amy: He is an actor, was on Teen Wolf for a season and now makes his home as Red Arrow/Roy/Arsenal on Arrow :)

  • Mimi

LOL, I was totally into it. Great dialogue and dating How To’s and Not To’s!

  • Michael

Colton Haynes was on the show Teen Wolf as the character Jackson, but now he is on Arrow as Roy Harper/Arsenal.

  • Jessica

Wow! He must have a boring/lonely life.

  • Dante

@Jessica: How does he have a lonely life? It was probably just a late dinner and he found it amusing. I have been out at times and overheard some pretty interested conversations but knew no one I knew would really care if I live tweeted it

  • Nicthalon

@Amy: You should check out MTV’s Teen Wolf or WB’s Arrow. (Arrow is MUCH better.)

  • Nicthalon

@Verity: It happened in a public place, so no, it’s not “sacred.” Sorry, but what you do in public, you can have no expectation of privacy. You want privacy, stay at home.

  • Lola

Have no idea who he is, but I did find the tweets funny … regardless if it is fact or fiction … it is not polite to stare or listen to others convos … but really, I think the tweets could teach some ladies out there on what NOT to do and What to do … Tracey, you go girl! PS Next time, make him pay for dinner! (I am assuming of course, he did not say who paid but who asked for the check)

  • Verity

@Nicthalon: The conversation I have at the table I’m sitting at is my business, not for social media. People need to stick to whats going on at their own table and mind their own business.

  • Julie

What kind of jackass eavesdrops on two people’s private conversation and then puts it on social media? For those who think it’s amusing… what if someone did this to you??
@Nicthalon: you’re probably the kind of person who thinks paparazzi have the right to stalk celebrities like animals 24 hrs a day.
Were living in very strange times and after reading that drones are being developed that can see through walls, things are not likely to get better because there will always be dumbasses like Nicthalon who embrace it.

  • Kim

Nothing that takes place in a public space is private. If you want privacy stay home.

  • Jasper

He didn’t take pictures of them. He only named their first names (and “Dan” isn’t necessarily even the married guy’s name).

That’s not a violation of privacy. Nobody knows the people he was talking about. If he’d taken pictures or given their first and last names, that would be a different story, he’s just reporting something that happened in public.

    Fair play.

  • Colin Boyle

He definitely sounds like a pick up artist and not a very good one.
