Matt Damon Releases a Statement on Robin Williams' Death

Matt Damon has broken his silence on the death of his Good Will Hunting co-star Robin Williams with a touching statement.

“Robin brought so much joy into my life and I will carry that joy with me forever. He was such a beautiful man. I was lucky to know him and I will never, ever forget him,” the 43-year-old actor said in a statement provided to JustJared.com.

“I truly hope the people in the media can find it within themselves to give his family some privacy during this horrible time,” he added.

Matt and Robin both won Academy Awards for the beloved 1997 movie - Matt for Best Original Screenplay and Robin for Best Supporting Actor.
