Robin Williams' Daughter Zelda Loves & Misses Him After Death

Robin Williams‘s daughter Zelda took to Twitter to share some words after her dad’s death.

The 25-year-old actress posted a quote from Antoine De Saint-Exupery‘s book “The Little Prince,” “You – you alone will have the stars as no one else has them… In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night… You – one you – will have the stars that can laugh.”

After the quote, Zelda wrote, “I love you. I miss you. I’ll try to keep looking up.”

We continue to send out our thoughts and condolences to Robin‘s loved ones during this difficult time.

No kidding?
Let’s not “spin” this folks.
This death is horrific.
RIP Robin Williams. His career was more than memorable to most of us and he was an amazing actor and comedian. Very sad.

Very sad. What I find trouble with, is that Zelda did not respond to the beautiful pic that her dad posted for her birthday. She wrote a loving statement to her mom on mother’s day with a pic, but no heart felt message for her dad on father’s day, just a simple pic of him in character. I know the heart of a parent who feels lonely when their children are distant. Words speak, ya know. Still sorry for their loss and ours! What a great human being. Knowone said he was flawless.

I know the pain and heart break of losing my Dad. Bless his kid’s and his wife. They need to grieve and celebrate him privately. That is the only way they can begin to heal.

In all the years of “FAMOUS” people passing away, this news feels like the air has been knocked out of me X 100!!
I truly feel as if Robin was part of my childhood and he made me smile, laugh, feel such emotion when he acted, etc…

Back in the day, growing up to Mork&Mindy was the coolest!! All of us kiddos had the rainbow suspenders and loved that show!!

Hoping that all the peeps out there that are feeling misunderstood, depressed, sad, or whatever is troubling them, think of Robin’s smiling face and seek comfort in help!! God granted each one of us “LIFE” and want us to make this world, our world, a BETTER place to live with each other in PEACE*LOVE!!!

Missing u Mr. Robin Williams!! You truly are “one of a kind” and your mark in this world will always be remembered~

@Rita:

You act as though you know Robin and Zelda personally. You do not. Perhaps he didn’t want her to post something publicly? Perhaps her phone was broken and she couldn’t post anything? Perhaps she innocently forgot? Maybe she was sick and wasn’t able to? Perhaps they kept their personal relationship private.

Stop criticizing total strangers that you know do NOT know.

@Rita: If this is true, that is SO heartbreaking. I feel like crying. I know this sounds clichéd, but everyone *should* live each day as if it were their last. You never know what the next 30 seconds can bring–or take away. Stop fighting over trivial things. In the end, you’ll realize what truly mattered…but then it’ll be too late. :(

@Shanrock7: Same here. I grew up in the ’90s so Robin Williams was such an integral part of my childhood. I’ve never felt this sad about losing an actor before the way this news has saddened me. I feel like a part of my childhood just died. We use to have Jumanji, Jack, Mrs. Doubtfire, Aladdin, Hook, Patch Adams and Field of Dreams on constant replay at our house. He was such a good man. Little did we know the man who spent a lifetime making us laugh needed a laugher in HIS life. Sometimes things aren’t what they seem. Depression is a silent killer.

The only other time I cried was when elvis died. I am crying. Silly, isn’t it, but I really really adored him. Rip and god bless.

@Rita: It’s not all about freaking social media. People DO have mouths. just because she didn’t reply to him on Instagram doesn’t mean she didn’t love him or didn’t appreciate it? Are you silly! she would have seen him in person or called him in person as it was her birthday! They would have spoken!

@Seriously?:

You’re right!

So Sad – grreat loss, prayer for his kids and family. RIP Robin you are missed.

The quote Zelda William’s posted is beautiful. Deepest condolences to his loved ones. This must be so difficult for them.

@Rita:
I don;t think you should make assumptions about their relationship from IG and Twitter posts. This social media culture makes people forget that people do not have to communicate online all the time. Maybe she saw him or phoned him.

@Rita: I think what we forget is that social media is for reaching out to people you don’t see or even know well. Twitter was created so celebs could interact with fans. Most family & friends talk in person.
