Michael B. Jordan Reflects on 'Dreadful Knock' on His Door Before Wallace's Death on 'The Wire'
Michael B. Jordan never fails to impress with his style while stepping out to celebrate the new AXE Gold Temptation at Pier 81 on Tuesday night (August 12) in New York City.
Earlier in the day, the 27-year-old actor was seen leaving an office building downtown.
Mike recently opened up about his breakthrough role as Wallace on The Wire and when his character got killed off the show.
“Each script that I got, I’d just be flipping through the pages to see if my name was in the back,” Michael told HuffPo. “It was like okay, now I can read it, because people were dropping like flies. Like nobody was safe on that show.”
He continued, “I got that dreadful knock on my trailer and [creator and writer] David Simon was like, ‘Look, I love you. Everybody loves you. But that’s why we gotta kill you.’ And yeah, Wallace was gone.”
FYI: Michael is wearing Ermenegildo Zegna and Christian Louboutin shoes.
