Robin Williams' Death Certificate Reveals His Ashes Were Scattered at Sea

Robin Williams was cremated following his death and his ashes were scattered at sea, according to his death certificate.

The certificate does not list a cause of death and instead says that the legendary actor’s death is “pending investigation.”

TMZ reports that his body was cremated the day after he died and his ashes were scattered in San Francisco Bay.

Robin committed suicide on August 11 by hanging himself with a belt at his home. The toxicology results are still not back and they will be available in the next few weeks to see if he had any chemicals in his body when he died.

    Just a kind FYI; it is more appropriate to say ‘died by suicide’ then ‘committed suicide’.

    An example –

    Consider taking Safetalk or ASIST training if you are interested in learning more about recognizing the signs of someone in distress or who may be thinking of taking their life, and how to help them get the help and resources they need to get better.

    Was it a Popeye ending? Zelda was his favorite video game, and a video game like Black-Ops the game calls some fatalities as a type of ‘assisted suicide’.

    “All the world’s a stage,
    And all the men and women merely players;
    They have their exits and their entrances;
    And one man in his time plays many parts…”
