Kristin Chenoweth Does Ice Bucket Challenge in Her Ball Gown & On Stage - Watch Now!

Kristin Chenoweth stands in a kiddie pool while getting ready to be drenched with water while participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge during her concert on Saturday (August 23) in Broken Arrow, Okla.

The 46-year-old actress was performing a concert in her hometown at a theater named after her and the show will be broadcast on PBS later this year.

“#ALSIceBucketChallenge w/ 2,000 ppl w/ Kenny Ortega & @MaryMitchellC. Calling out @kathynajimy @petergallagher,” Kristin tweeted along with the photo.

In case you didn’t know, Kristin and Peter Gallagher will be starring together on Broadway next year in On The Twentieth Century. He has already completed the challenge though!

    I thought she was an animal lover? How come she isn’t saying anything about ALS animal testing? Guess fame is more important than principle? It is possible to support both causes. Why can’t the celebs just give the money instead of making it into a ‘snap a photo of me aren’t I a good person’ but I can’t give the money unless there is a gimmick involved which garners publicity.’
