Watch the MTV VMAs 2014 Tribute to Robin Williams (Video)

A short tribute for the late Robin Williams just played during the 2014 MTV VMAs.

The 63-year-old actor passed away suddenly in a suicide from hanging earlier this month and shocked the world.

The tribute consisted of a short montage of pictures of Robin with Coldplay‘s “A Sky Full of Stars” playing simultaneously.

Watch the short tribute below. The 2014 MTV VMAs are still playing right now on MTV for a bit longer, so you can still catch the end of the show if you tune in now.

Miss You Robin Williams @ 08/25/2014 at 12:40 am

That constitutes as a “tribute”? A ten second slide show? Careful. If anybody blinks, you’d miss it.

Ok but what does Robin Williams and Richard Attenborough have to do with MTV and music videos? I mean…at the Oscars it’s expected but this is sort of out of context and if they were alive I don’t think they would care at all
