Emmys 2014 Scores Second Highest Ratings in 8 Years!

The 2014 Emmy Awards scored big in the ratings last night (August 25) under the hosting duties of funny man Seth Meyers!

In fact, the Emmys scored its second-highest Emmy rating in eight years under Seth‘s strong hosting skills.

This year, early projections are 10.9 household rating/18 share, which is down about 10% from last year’s ratings, Variety reports.

Last year, the Emmys scored a bit higher thanks to an NFL lead in. The Emmys aired on a Monday for the first time in nearly 40 years.
