Charlie Hunnam will be phenomenal in the role of King Authur! He certainly had more than enough talent and name recognition to carry the film as the lead!

@hube: Merlin=fictitious=able to interpret in any way you want. The fact that you’re upset about this is sad. Who cares if it’s a black Merlin. Merlin could have been black. We know nothing because it’s a LEGEND.

I think Charlie might do a better job here than he did with Pacific Rim. He was a charisma-vacuum in that movie and he was seriously struggling with the accent. MAybe he will be better in this as he can use his own accent. Idris will be awesome

Great for Lizzie Olsen but I hope this is a better role than her pathetic character in Godzilla. She’s a very good actress but she’s been in a lot of crap after her breakthrough movie because Hollywood has so few good roles for women.

@hube: Info said “Merlinsque” figure. Don’t know what color Merlin was supposed to be had he been real, but does it matter?

@Santanico: Do you really think King Arthur would have ” a clean haircut and a nice shave?” Anyhoo, Charlie looks better with a beard and longish hair.
