Britney Spears & David Lucado Split After Year & a Half of Dating

Britney Spears and her boyfriend David Lucado have split after dating for a year and half, her rep confirms to JustJared.com.

“Ahhhh the single life!” the 32-year-old singer tweeted on Thursday afternoon (August 28).

“Yes, she’s single,” her rep told us in a simple statement.

The reason for the split is reportedly because of a video that is being shopped around that shows David making out with another woman in someone’s living room, according to TMZ. No word on if this rumor is true though!

“David is very, very in love with Britney. This is unfortunate and he hopes that it all works out,” his rep told the site.

Britney was last photographed out and about with David last week, just after nominating him to take on the Ice Bucket Challenge.
