“I am a big film and art buff, I think better films would be made if more people were,” Rose told THR. “My three inspirations for Dawn were the look of the original Parent Trap, the tension of Night of the Hunter, and the loneliness of an Edward Hopper painting.”

    Great look on her!

    A pretty arrogant statement. Many people are film buffs. If she’s so good at it, why has she always had such a mediocre career?

    @please:

    I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but I just needed to reply to that. Rose says that she just “fell” into acting and never wanted to be an actress. Right now she’s talking about her directorial debut “Dawn”, which has only gotten positive reviews on Sundance this year. So, yeah, I would guess she’s pretty good at it!

    Dawn is blooming lovely !
