Kelly Osbourne Pays Tribute to Joan Rivers with Touching Post

Kelly Osbourne has posted a touching tribute to her Fashion Police co-panelist Joan Rivers after the legendary comedienne’s death today.

“I’m completely heartbroken by the loss of my beloved Joan. Not only was she my boss, she was and will always be my teacher, therapist, closest friend, inspiration and the only grandmother I ever knew. She was family and I will never forget her,” the 29-year-old television personality said in a Facebook post.

“Laughter will be difficult for a while but when I’m sad, lonely or upset all I will have to do is think of Joan and a smile will cross my face. Laughter is what she gave us and laughter is what she would want us to do in remembrance of her,” she added. “Melissa and Cooper, my thoughts are with you and I love you both so much. Joan, thank you for taking me in and loving me as a daughter. I will miss you deeply and will always hear your voice in my head saying ‘my darling get out there and be you!’”

E! has released a statement saying the future of Fashion Police is uncertain at this time.

We continue to send out our condolences to Joan‘s friends and family during this difficult time.

Selfish annoying b*tches of a feather flock together.
I didn’t like Joan. She really wasn’t a likeable person.
Robin Williams was a better comedian & a better human being.

@swiftie: My condolences to the Rivers family but I have to agree with swiftie. She wan’t a very likeable person. She was always very rude to everyone and just not really funny. I liked Robin Williams better. Much nicer and caring. Such a great guy. But RIP to both of them.

Joan and Robin’s humour are totally different.. Joan was really brass but funny at the same time, she made a career out of her humour since Carson and paved the way for other female comedians. Both deaths were very unexpected, even if Joan was 81, she never acted like it.

@swiftie: “swiftie and maria:” STFU. She had alot of friends and did an enormous amount for charity. The jokes were her JOB, and she was known for being a VERY caring person. What would YOU know? You’re too stupid to realize the difference between someone’s stage act and their everyday life.

I think its okay to feel whatever in regards to her passing.

I think this was very touching. I loved watching Joan. I think she learned to laugh at herself and at her pain and what most people see it the outward shell of sarcasm that protects the inner being , which the public may not be privvy to.

Most celebs are narcissists who cannot take a joke..those who could laugh at themselves enjoyed and since I loved to laugh at them, I enjoyed Joan

I will tune in to watch Joan everyday..I will watch a Robin Williams movie etc etc….

I am saddened by her departure and I will miss watching her on redcarpet…

they should cancel Fashion Police, it won’t be the same without Joan or even be funny without her.

Whether you liked her or not, at least you can respect the family for their loved ones death. Imagine if that was your family remember. Don’t you have a heart or are you to ignorant to notice if you have one.

I am just very happy for the young Hollywood star she won’t to criticize and make fun of anymore. I know many people wished her dead and they got their wish granted. Joan was narcissistic, despicable, selfish, racist and a big megalomaniac. She thought that she was greatness, but she was only a very lucky little ordinary jewish woman.

Very true. I did not like her, but she’s left behind a daughter and grandson who loved her and who will miss her.

Big difference between Joan Rivers & Robin Williams… Robin Williams took his own life. He may have been a great comedian & great person but he did a very selfish & cowardly thing in the end. To Joan, life was a precious thing that she did not take for granted or squander. She lived her life to the fullest until the very end.
