Joan Rivers' Autopsy Complete, Clear Cause of Death Not Found

Joan Rivers‘ autopsy has been completed just one day after her tragic death, TMZ reports, but a cause of death could not be found.

The medical examiners could not find a “cause and manner of death” and will need to do further studies, which will include a toxicology test, as well as interviewing the doctors who were present when her initial throat procedure was conducted before her cardiac episode.

Joan, 81, suddenly rushed to the hospital last week after when she suddenly stopped breathing during a procedure last week on her throat and reportedly went into cardiac arrest.

Joan was placed on life support in the hospital in New York City where she was surrounded by friends and family before her death.
