G.R.L. Girls Release Statement on Simone Battle's Death

The ladies of G.R.L. have tweeted out their first statement following the death of their group member Simone Battle.

“Words cannot express the depth of our loss. Simone‘s incredible talent was only surpassed by the size of her heart,” the ladies said in a joint statement. “We will carry her memory with us in everything we do.”

Simone died of a reported suicide at age 25. She was found dead hanging in her closet on Friday morning (September 5) in her Los Angeles home.

We continue to send out our prayers to Simone‘s loved ones during this difficult time.

    Never heard fo her. If she had been more successful, then I probably would’ve heard of her. Then she wouldn’t have done what she did. Is suicide the new trend for washed up celebrities & people who never made it big?

    Wat a horrible thing to say TICK , your an idiot with no life!For your information simone battle was an incredible person , with an even incredible talent that shone through and has been seen worldwide. It’s your loss that u don’t know wat real music is! My condolences go out to her family and friends. She was an amazing person and so lucky to be be part of a great group of friends : GRL !

    I guess if someone hasn’t family to keep them well and depression makes them feel despair – You’re not alone with organizations like lifeline, salvation army, http://www.beyondblue.org.au, Vinnies amongst many that do wonderful work. Some signs that you should look out for are self threatening or mistreatment of others (a disorder) and you should contact somebody that can help in regards.
