GRL's Simone Battle Reportely Committed Suicide, Dead at 25

Simone Battle, part of the girl group G.R.L., reportedly died by committing suicide, according to TMZ.

The 25-year-old singer was found hanging in a closet in her bedroom at her Los Angeles home on Friday morning (September 5). Simone‘s autopsy has not yet been completed, according to the L.A. County Coroner’s Office.

If you aren’t familiar with Simone‘s group G.R.L., you may remember her as a finalist on the first season of the U.S. version of The X Factor where she was championed in the early rounds by Simon Cowell.
