Instagram's ItsLavishBitch Jailed for Selling iPhone on Craigslist

Param Sharma, mostly known as his Instagram handle @ItsLavishBitch, has spent the last 24 days in jail after selling a found iPhone on Craiglist.

The 18-year-old was found guilty of a misdemeanor charge because he didn’t make a reasonable effort to find the original owner of the found iPhone. His lawyer says that he sold the phone for a friend who didn’t have access to the internet.

Param became famous on Instagram for posting photos of himself showing off his loads of cash and expensive items, like diamond-studded jewelry and cars. He also often tagged celebrities in photos and called the Kardashian family a “pile of peasants” once.

Param was convicted on August 18 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, but he was accidentally placed in the psych ward where he had to stay for two weeks since the court misplaced his case files, according to ABC News.
