Michelle Monaghan Set for San Diego Film Festival Honor!

Michelle Monaghan is pretty in purple while attending a special screening of her new movie Fort Bliss on Thursday evening (September 11) in Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old actress was joined at the event by co-stars Ron Livingston and Emmanuelle Chriqui, who brought along her good friend Malin Akerman.

It was just announced that Michelle will be receiving the Excellence in Acting award at the 2014 San Diego Film Festival later this month for her performance in the movie!

Fort Bliss is about a decorated U.S. Army medic and single mother (Monaghan) who struggles to rebuild her relationship with her young son after returning home from an extended tour in Afghanistan.
