Amy Adams Solidifies Oscar Chances with 'Big Eyes' Trailer!

Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz get confronted about a painting in the trailer for their highly anticipated new movie Big Eyes.

The film is a drama centered on the awakening of the painter Margaret Keane (Adams), her phenomenal success in the 1950s, and the subsequent legal difficulties she had with her husband (Waltz), who claimed credit for her works in the 1960s.

Also starring in the Tim Burton-directed flick are Krysten Ritter and Jason Schwartzman. It will hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25.

Amy is a frontrunner for an Oscar nomination this year even though we haven’t seen her full performance yet. She has been nominated five times so far, so we would love to see her win one soon!

This looks amazing. Good acting, good story, I can’t wait to watch it. And the Academy loves a real story, so this might be it for Amy.

Amy Adams is a frontrunner? LOL
Jared were you living in a cave in the last months? Julianne Moore is the frontrunner and probably will win the Oscar next year! Harvey Weinstein will buy another filler and undeserved nomination for Amy as usual, but she’s not even close to win!, especially for a Tim Burton movie, the old men from the Academy hates him.

@Alex: read the story a little closer. It says a front runner for a nomination, not a win

  • Cate

@Alex: Calm down and actually read the sentence: “frontrunner for an Oscar NOMINATION”

  • Maria

She’s been nominated for every film she’s in ……
