Shia LaBeouf's 'Lawless' Co-Star Mia Wasikowska Describes Just What It's Like Working with Him

Shia LaBeouf steps out with his very bush beard on Saturday (September 20) in New York City.

The day before, the 28-year-old actor was seen arriving at LAX Airport carrying a huge bag of luggage.

Shia‘s Lawless co-star Mia Wasikowska recently spoke about working with Shia.

“He’s a very method actor, and so I was on the receiving end of the method,” she told the Huffington Post. “You meet so many different people, and sometimes you connect with them and you share that you have a similar approach and sometimes you don’t, and you just have to let them do their thing and hope it doesn’t affect you too deeply.”

Back in 2012, Shia spoke about how Mia was ready to quit the movie because of him.

“She was calling her attorney, like, “Get me the f*ck out of here.” … Mia was ready to walk away from the movie. I was really pretty aggressive about it, and not in any kind of weird, strange way, but I don’t think she had ever experienced anything like that,” Shia said a few years back to Page Six.

Shia is a good actor. I think he can win Oscar some day. He dedicates himself to his roles.

I worry that Sexy Shia is loosing touch with his feminine side. The tights/pants seem to be the last vestige and are being overpowered by the manly beard and boots……

What’s with this guys obsession with Army clothing and accessories? Stop playing pretend and just join already. Oh wait. That would be beneath you. Seeing as how it’s not exactly a high paying job….. Hollywood douche.

I thought the best thing about “Lawless” were the scenes between Shia and Mia, they had some touching moments within all the violence and gore. Huffington Post brought up the whole behind the scene conflict, they practically had to drag some kind of commentary out of her, still Mia’s response was classy and not really critical.

“My dear boy, what ever happened to ‘acting’?” — Laurence Olivier, expressing frustration over Dustin Hoffman’s inability to complete scenes after staying awake for the previous 48 hours to get in the right frame of mind for the infamous ‘dental torture’ scene.

    IOW: Shia’s basically got nothing.
