I absolutely do not remember Nancy Sinatra having her version of Bang Bang on the radio, only Cher.

one of those career defining moments. I’m completely blown away.

  • kirki

It’s weird, even though I do like her and I think that she is multi-talented, at the end of the song it sounds to me like she is shouting in a tone, not singing.
And it’s funny because I didn’t know what “slays” means in english so I thought it meant “murdered” but indeed she was impressive, apart from the last part of the video in my opinion.

  • Rocky

Loved it. Gaga rocked it! I do remember Nancy Sinatra’s version, but Gaga can sing — Nancy sure couldn’t.

  • Sebastian

my opinion is exactly as Kirki said up above, she screams it and makes it’s over dramatic but it’s not believable, and she murdered the song but in a wrong way, she is multi talented and has a nice voice but she doesn’t get the feeling of the song.

  • Cal

I disagree. She has a perfect feeling for the song, she even lowered her voice toward the end which reminded me of Cher.

Gaga is PERFECT!! So funny to read some critics here…. IS SO EASY TO SIT HERE AND CRITIC SOMEONE… WHY DONT U DO SOMETHING?

Cher had such a Hugh Worldwide Hit with this song that soooo many covered it, and are still covering it.
In March 1966, Bang Bang was 19 year old Cher’s 9th Billboard Hot 100 charting song reaching #2 in the US, #3 in the UK and #3 Worldwide United World Chart
