Miles Teller: 'Fantastic Four' Reboot is a Less Kitschy Version

Miles Teller carries an iced coffee with him while leaving his hotel on Tuesday afternoon (September 30) in New York City.

The 27-year-old actor was followed closely behind by his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry.

“It’s different in every way,” Miles recently told Vulture about the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, compared to the 2005 version. “All those actors were a lot older, their characters were in different places. The tone of this film is completely different: We don’t have Michael Chiklis in a big Styrofoam thing, and I think that [a more grounded approach] is what people are into – X-Men: First Class is doing that.”

He added, “You’re dealing with these characters but you’re making them real people in how they exist day-to-day. People wanted it to be taken more seriously than the kind of Dick Tracy, kitschy, overly comic-book world.”

FYI: Miles is wearing a rag & bone tee, Mont Blanc watch, and Creative Recreation shoes.

He would be more relevant as an upcoming actor if he ditched the girlfriend. Everytime he’s papped, she’s lingering in the background-right behind him.

The Divergent comment has stirred up enough controversy and now he is verbally thrashing (mildly, but still) his colleagues. Even if 2005′s F4 was objectively bad, there got to be some professional ethic. I actually like Miles Teller, but he needs to filter what he says in public.

@Living in a box: Totally! He’s a douchebag! Has he even read the comics? I used to like him, but the more he talks the more I wish he didn’t.
